Als ich die Tage im Blog von Mikey’s Mom gestöbert habe, ist mir eine neue Challenge-Seite ins Auge gefallen, und zwar die Pixie Dust Paperie. Dort lautet das Motto im April: Fly Away With Me und man ist aufgefordert ein Projekt einzureichen, dass sich mit einer Stadt befasst. Und da landet meine Geburtstagskarte, die ich die Tage gemacht habe, wohl einen Volltreffer.

When I was browsing over at Mikey’s Mom a few days ago I came across a new challenge blog, the Pixie Dust Paperie. Their April challenge is called Fly Away With Me and you are supposed to enter a project with a big city theme. I guess that this birthday card I made these days is to the point.

Es ist sozusagen eine Sonderanfertigung zum Geburtstag eines New York-Liebhabers – mit dem ich im Rahmen einer geografischen Exkursion die Ehre haben werde, Ende Mai eine Woche diese Stadt zu erkunden. Ich kann es kaum erwarten… 41 Tage noch. Vielleicht sollte ich noch einen Countdown installieren.

It is custom-made (well… as are most of my cards) for the birthday of a New York lover. I will have the honor of discovering the city with him on a geographic field trip for a week at the end of May. And I can’t wait… 41 days to go. Maybe I should set up another countdown. Anybody out there who can recommend crafting stores in either NYC or Boston? That’s where I’ll be headed afterwards 😉
