Gestern ging mir beim Blick auf den Kalender das Herz auf… der Countdown lief seit ungefähr Ende Februar und nun ist es endlich soweit! Urlaub! Ich fliege über den Atlantik und werde viele interessante Dinge tun… Freunde treffen… New York entdecken… in Boston nostalgisch werden… ausschlafen… mindestens die Füße ins Meer stecken… im Sand spazieren… … …

It was sheer bliss when I had a look at the calendar yesterday… I had been counting down the days since about the end of February, it was ridiculous. But now it’s finally happening! Vacation! I’ll cross the Atlantic and will be doing tons of interesting things… meeting friends… discovering New York City… being nostalgic in Boston… sleeping in late… put at least my feet into the sea… take a walk on the beach… … …
