Ein weiterer schöner, wenn auch noch ziemlich frischer Tag… aber in einer geschützten Ecke warm genug, um meine betagte Nachbarin in gebührendem Abstand auf ein Schwätzchen bei Kaffee und Kuchen mal rauszulocken – zumeist mit Blick in den Garten statt Richtung Tisch. Ich glaube, es hat ihr sehr gut getan. Und eine weitere Weihnachtskarte gibt es auch, die ich bei CHNC #483 – Anything Goes und The Holly and Ivy #68 – Anything Christmas Goes einstelle:

It’s been yet another gorgeous, if rather chilly day… but in a protected corner it was warm enough to ask my elderly neighbor out for a socially distanced chat over coffee and cake. I think she enjoyed it a lot, even though I was not facing her most of the time. And there’s another Christmas card which I will enter over at CHNC #483 – Anything Goes and The Holly and Ivy #60 – Anything Christmas Goes:

Einmal dabei, habe ich gleich sechs Stück davon gemacht… zwei davon hat Larry allerdings in einem unbeobachteten Moment mit einem Autogramm versehen – die gehen dann an ganz besondere Menschen 😉

Once I was at it, I made a set of six… two of which were autographed by Larry when I didn’t pay attention for about seven seconds – they will be for very special people 😉

Und natürlich gibt es auch von der Fraktion U12 Neuigkeiten. Lars (7) und Mica (5) haben mit ihrer Mama Sabine eine Hasenfamilie gebastelt. Dafür haben sie alte Socken ausgestopft und für den wichtigsten Arbeitsschritt ihre Finger hingehalten: die Knoten. Welcher gefällt euch am besten? Ich kann mich gar nicht entscheiden, ich finde sie alle Klasse! Ostern jedenfalls kann kommen!

Of course there is news from the U12 creative crowd as well. Lars (7) and Mica (5) made a bunny family with their Mom Sabine. They stuffed old socks and bravely lend their fingers for the most important step: the knots. Which one do you like best? I have a hard time deciding – I love them all! With this bunny family, you are certainly ready for Easter!
