In Sachen Geschenkverpackung und dem Versuch, langsam aber sicher von den bunten, womöglich glitzernden Papieren umzusteigen auf Packpapier oder gar wiederverwendbare Beutel, habe ich für ein leicht bedrucktes Packpapier von IKEA eine Deko-Idee gehabt, die mich total begeistert. Einen farblichen Akzent setzen.
When it comes to wrapping Christmas presents, I have started to move away from the colorful, even sparkling papers to kraft paper or re-usable bags. I’m going slowly, as there are still papers from years past to put to use, but I have bought this kraft paper that has some print on it at IKEA and had an idea for decoration that I really like: a little handcoloring.

The Knackered Grouse 
I am with you. I found a music book in the thrift store, cut out stars and stitched with thread, leaving one end open to insert present and then sewing it shut. I then put a piece of ribbon and a button on the front. I feel so good to have recycled several items!
