Heute möchte ich euch mit Stuart McLean bekannt machen, der leider Anfang dieses Jahres verstorben ist. Einer Freundin aus Kanada, die ich vor vielen Jahren in Schweden kennengelernt habe, habe ich zu verdanken, dass ich ihn und die Geschichten aus dem Vinyl Café kennengelernt habe. Da geht es um Dave, der den Plattenladen Vinyl Café betreibt, seine Frau Morley und die Kinder Sam und Stephanie. Diese Geschichten kann man lesen – oder hören. Und hier hört ihr eine meiner Lieblingsgeschichten: Dave Cooks the Turkey. Today I’d like to introduce you to Stuart McLean who sadly passed away earlier this year. Kudos to a friend from Canada who I met almost 20 years ago in Sweden – she recommended him and his stories from the Vinyl Café. It’s about Dave, who runs the Vinyl Café, his wife Morley and the children Sam and Stephanie. You can read the stories – or listen to them.
