Und das Engelchen gewann, auch wenn es dann eklig war, denn die Luft war voller kleiner fliegender Viecher mit grünem Körper – und die Leistung auf dem Platz ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig… Aber es gibt ja auch Leute, die sich gar nicht erst aufraffen!!

And the angel won even though it was disgusting with millions of tiny bugs with green bodies out and about – and the performance on the court left a lot to be desired… But then there are others who don’t even show up!!

Aber es gibt ja noch einen Gewinner! Dieser Tage ist es angesagt, alle möglichen Zeitfenster auszunutzen und so kam es, dass ich die im Zug gefertigten Lose in der Radstation auf den Tresen warf und den überraschten Herrn Abdul-Hadi bat, Glücksfee zu spielen. Das hat er gern getan – und hat Katja B. gezogen! Herzlichen Glückwunsch! Jetzt ist da nur das Problem, dass ich die Basisausstattung wohl kaum rechtzeitig nach Uganda geschafft kriege… Dann wirds wohl erstmal hier rumliegen und nicht zum Einsatz kommen 😦 Dabei wäre es auch dort wichitg, denn in Uganda hält sich offenbar die Meinung, dass die Super Falcons aus Nigeria Deutschland in der Vorrunde schlagen werden…

But there’s another winner! I try to make use of all the small moments I can find these days so I ended up preparing the lots on the train, threw them on the desk at the bike station and asked the surprised Mr. Abdul-Hadi to find the lucky one. He was happy to assist and drew the lot with Katja B’s name on it! Congratulations! Now the only problem is that I will not manage to get the basic fan package to Uganda in time… so it will sit here and not be able to support our team 😦 But it would be important in Uganda as well as people believe that Nigeria’s Super Falcons will beat Germany in the group round…

Nun ja… morgen beginnt das lange Wochenende… und am Sonntag geht’s los!
Okay… tomorrow is this week’s Friday – holiday weekend ahead! And on Sunday…!
