Naja, ich hinke etwas hinterher mit der Veröffentlichung dieses Auftakts einer Fotoreihe, aber ich gelobe Besserung für dieses Einjahresprojekt! Bereits am 28.01.2011 wurde unten stehendes Foto vom Rhododendron-Rondell in den Botanischen Gärten Bonn gemacht und von nun an soll jeden Monat zum gleichen Zeitpunkt (+/- ein paar Tage) ein Fortschrittsfoto gemacht werden.

Well, I’m a little behind with the publication of this kick-off to a photo series but I promise to improve my discipline in the course of this one-year project! The photo of the rhododendron bed below at the Botanical Gardens in Bonn was taken on January 28, 2011 already. From now on I plan to take a picture at that time every month (+/- a few days) to show the progress. So be sure to check back in!

Und dabei geht hier schon soviel anderer Frühling ab… Krokusse in Teppichen… Narzissen kommen schon überall raus – mal sehen, wann wir wieder einen drüber kriegen. Vorhersagemäßig ja schon am Wochenende.

And this when we’re having the first glimpses of spring here already… whole carpets of crocusses… dandelions (of Wordsworth fame or other) are sprouting everywhere – let’s see when winter will return with a vengeance. It’s forecast for the coming weekend already.
