Wer hätte das gedacht… kurz vor Ladenschluss habe ich es tatsächlich noch geschafft, eine Karte zu machen, die sowohl ein Weihnachtsmann-Motiv hat, als auch eine Schüttelkarte ist – für die gerade noch gute 24 Stunden laufende Challenge bei den Jingle Belles, „Shake it, Santa Baby“.
Who would have guessed… there are just about 24 hours left of the current Jingle Belles‘ challenge „Shake it, Santa Baby“ – and I did manage to combine the Santa motive and the shaker card.
Ich war da inspiriert von einer wunderschönen Karte von Lisa Johansen, was den zweigeteilten Hintergrund angeht.
I was inspired by a beautiful card by Lisa Johansen as far as the two-piece background is concerned.
In diesem (Weihnachts-)Kartenbastelwahnsinn gehen mir hoffentlich nicht die neuen Follower verloren, die sich – wahrscheinlich – aufgrund der Reiseberichterstattung angeschlossen haben… Willkommen, Aaron! Es kommen auch wieder andere Zeiten, wenn auch vielleicht nicht so bald. 🙂
I hope the new followers (which I suspect have come onboard based on the recent Madagascar coverage) won’t debark immediately in this (Christmas) Card Creating Frenzy… Welcome, Aaron! There will be other times again, though probably not too soon. 🙂

I find the shaker cards to be very challenging, as I like to forget one of the acetate pieces!
