Vor einiger Zeit sah eine Freundin, wie ich mir einen COPIC Marker kaufte und erinnerte sich, dass im Keller an ihrem Arbeitsplatz kistenweise COPICS rumstehen, die im Zeitalter computergestützter Zeichnungen niemand mehr verwendet. Chef gefragt, eingepackt – und gestern kam knapp die Häfte plus Nachfülltinte bei mir an:

Some time ago a friend saw me purchasing a COPIC marker and remembered that there were boxes full of them in the basement where she works. They are not used anymore as nowadays all the drawings are computer-based. She asked her boss, packed them up – and yesterday I received half of them plus a box with refills:

Es war wirklich wie Weihnachten – und bis auf 5 sind alle noch top in Ordnung… G17 gibt es sechsmal, aber gut… dann muss ich eben ein bisschen mehr grün verwenden demnächt 😉 Es wird noch etwas Zeit vergehen, bis ich sie wirklich nutze – denn für die Challenge bei CCAYR, die einfach Winter heißt, habe ich vollkommen auf COPICs verzichtet und nur Briefmarken benutzt und gestempelt und embossed.

It really felt like Christmas – and only five of them don’t work anymore… I now have six of G17 but well – I’ll just have to use a bit more green in the future 😉 Some time will pass until I get to really use them – as for the current challenge at CCAYR, Winter, I only used real postal stamps, rubber stamps and heat embossing.

Das schöne silbrige Glänzen habe ich nur in Teilen für’s Foto gebannt gekriegt… aber ich denke, ihr könnt einen Eindruck gewinnen, oder?

I didn’t manage to get all the nice silvery embossing to shine at once on any one photograph… but I think you can get an idea, right?
