A colleague from France recently let us know that in his home country it’s perfectly fine to wish each other a happy new year until the end of January – so there: Happy New Year! I hope it started out well for you and that you can handle the fact that it’s already February the day after tomorrow… And no surprise here, of course: Christmas is on my mind, but in this kind of landscape that would be easy for beginners even:
Meanwhile, I’ve gotten hooked on the tea bag fold… with actual tea bag… bags. And it comes in really handy as an after hours activity when factoring in a cat addicted to cuddles – Larry lies down on my legs the moment I get onto the couch. Anyhow, I can’t drink nearly as much tea as I would like to create these stars.
Color combinations are sometimes on the courageous side of things, I’m still experimenting. Maybe the carnival season which is heating up in earnest now plays a role here?
Luckily, many challenges in January do their best to get your mojo going again without fancy themes:
Sparkles: #144 Sparkle / Glitter accents
ABC: A – is for Anything for Christmas / B – is for Bear
Rudolph Days Challenge / January
12 Months of Christmas: #96 Anything Christmas Goes
MLCCB: #48 Anything Christmas Goes
So… have a good start into February!
Barbara
Love the snow photos! And your stars are fabulous. When you say tea bag, do you mean the envelope they come in?

Hi Barbara – thanks for your latest post to which I responded but for some reason, it got into a correction mode….sorry! Hope you get to review and update before posting – here goes!
Lovely pictures and cards – thanks for sharing…What a lovely idea to use these tea envelopes. Will give it a try . This month, Ottawa / Gatineau has received double the amont of snow compared to last year…we should easily break the record for the yearly total amont – with February and March still to come! Would make your pics even prettier! Santé, paix et bonheur xo
