Der Baum steht – und das wie immer schon seit dem ersten Adventswochenende! Es ist wieder ein Riesentrümmer und eine Schönheit noch dazu. Das geschulte Auge sah schon bei Anlieferung (nicht gesehen gekauft), dass er zu groß war – doch bevor ich die Worte „Ich hole mal die Säge raus“ äußern konnte, war die Spitze schon abgeschnippt. Und trotzdem sind 400 Lichterchen noch zu wenig… Aber ich habe ein neues Familienmitglied, rein technisch wohl ein Rentier, eine Rudolfine, aber sie wurde herzlich willkommen geheißen:

The tree is up – and of course as of last weekend! It’s huge again – and a beauty, too. I saw already when they brought it that it was too tall (I bought it without seeing it – it’s a place where you can do that) – but before I could utter „Let me get the saw“, they had cut off the top. And still 400 lights are not enough… Give a warm welcome to a new member of the family, technically a reindeer, a Rudolphia, but the moose did not mind one bit:

Und heute Morgen mache ich die Wohnungstür auf und meine Deko, ein großer Nikolaussocken, klonkert hart gegen das Holz. Hm? Und dann gucke ich nach – und dann sind da allen Ernstes Süßigkeiten drin!!! Und es ist noch nicht mal Nikolaus!!! Es funktioniert! 🙂

And then this morning I open the apartment door and my decoration, a large stocking, kind of hits hard against the wood. Mmh? I have a closer look – and there’s candy inside!!! And it’s not even St. Nicholas yet!!! It works! 🙂
