Ein Wintermärchen – zwar nicht da, wo ich wohne… aber nur anderthalb Autostunden entfernt. Aufwachen bei Schnee und wunderbarem Licht. Ein Schneemann auf Diät. Eine Burgruine. Stille im Wald (mit versteckten Dachsbaue). Vorsichtiger Sonnendurchbruch. Und – wie man sieht – immer noch mehr Schnee im Himmel 🙂
A Winter Wonderland – though not where I live… but only about an hour and a half by car. Waking up to snow and this wonderful light. A skinny snowman. A towering castle. Silence in the woods (and hidden badger dens). The sun carefully making a breakthrough. And – as you can tell – more snow in the skies 🙂

The Knackered Grouse 
Such a pretty sight. We actually had a bit of snow last week, according to my husband, but by the time I got out of bed, most of it had already disappeared again. Friends in Mochos told us they had 45-50 cm of snow. There’s still a small mount against their fence that was created by the snow plow. There’s probably even more up on the Lassithi Plateau, but we haven’t been up to take a look. Too cold haha.
