Was war das für ein wunderbares Herbstwochenende – sturmumtost und beim Kaminfeuer: da kann man sich dann in aller Ruhe zuhause mal wieder der Bastelecke und ähnlichen Orten widmen. Heißt aber für die eher Wanderinteressierten unter euch, dass es wieder nix ist mit Landschaft. Aber ich habe schon wieder viele Anfragen, es ist also nur eine Frage der Zeit 😉
What a great fall weekend! Stormy weather and a woodburning stove doing overtime: perfect to just be at home and not feel bad about it, plenty of time for the creative nook and similar places. Of course that also means that the hiking enthusiasts in the audience have to be very brave now: no landscape photography. But I’ve had a number of hiking requests already so it’s only a matter of time 😉
Das Herzstück dieser Karte ist eine alte Postkarte, die ich auf meinem letzten, schon viel zu lange zurückliegenden Urlaub in Schweden auf einer der Loppis-Touren gefunden habe. Mehr als eine dieses Motivs und von noch einigen anderen, die ihr im Laufe der nächsten Wochen auch noch sehen werdet.
The centerpiece of this card is actually an old postcard that I found on one of the many loppis that I frequented on my last, much too long ago vacation in Sweden. Several of this motif and a few others which you will get to see in the upcoming weeks as well.

They are beautiful Barbara! I really love the Scandinavian Santa… So nostalgic. We’ve had a few ’summer‘ days here with temperatures in the 70’s though a wood burner and a cosy day sounds perfect. Have a good weekend…
