… aber was für ein fantastischer Tag! Leider hatte ich keine Wanderschuhe dabei, sonst hätte ich mich womöglich spontan mal auf die gesamte Wirftbachtal-Schleife gestürzt – so wurde es ein anderthalbstündiger Spaziergang im Pulverschnee – nach -11° in der Nacht.

Manche Stellen sollte man wohl mal nachts besuchen – hier sagen sich ganz klar nicht nur Fuchs und Hase Gute Nacht (aber die waren wohl auch dabei).

In German you can refer to a remote place as a place where „fox and rabbit wish each other good night.“ They were obviously not alone here – it looks like it’s worth spending the night here to see who shows up!

Was mich allerdings umgebracht hat war, dass weit und breit kein einziges Kind auf einem Schlitten zu sehen war. Wie kann man sich an einem solchen Tag NICHT in den Dellen stürzen?! Muss mal sehen, ob ich nicht noch einen alten Schlitten in der Garage finde! Schönes Wochenende noch!

It almost killed me, though, that not a single kid was in sight to enjoy this wonderful day in the snow. How can you NOT take a sleigh and race down the hills? I think I’ll go and check for my old one in the garage! Enjoy your weekend!
