Oh mein Gott, oh mein Gott! Es ist wieder soweit: heute Abend kommt mein absoluter Lieblingsfilm!! Aber ich bin viel zu müde… klar, ich habe auch die DVD und könnte ihn jeden Tag gucken… aber irgendwie ist es dann doch immer wieder ein Ereignis, wenn er im Fernsehen kommt.

OMG, OMG! It is happening again: my favorite movie of all times will be on TV tonight!! But I’m way too tired… sure, I also have the DVD and could watch it every day… but somehow it’s always an event od sorts when it is on TV.

Der Film macht das unmögliche möglich: es ist ein spannender Thriller, der eine Parodie auf Thriller ist – dazu ein Abenteuer- und Outdoor-Film – in Teilen ziemlich brutal, aber dann auch wieder so unendlich witzig… und ein Elch kommt auch sehr prominent drin vor 😉

This movie does the impossible: it is a nerve wrecking thriller that is also a parody on the genre – and also an adventure and outdoor movie. It’s kinda violent sometimes but then also so funny… And then it prominently features a moose 😉

Wenn ihr also Lust habt – 22:15 im ZDF. Ich bin hin- und hergerissen, denn Die Säulen der Erde hat mich auch ziemlich in seinen Bann gezogen…

So if you think it might be of interest (and if you speak German and have access to ZDF):it’s on at 10:15pm GMT+1 tonight. I’m torn as I’m under the spell of The pillars of the earth at the moment…
