It’s such a cold weekend here – and I’m talking knitted socks, felt cardigan and woodburning stove cold – you hardly make it out of bed or off the couch and if you manage, the best thing to do is make Christmas cards. And go have a look at 17 (!) challenge blogs to see what’s up and get inspired. That’s how I came across the current Winter Wonderland Challenge: Christmas Decorations. And even though this card at first made me think of a skunk on its way to a 4th of July party, I did manage to give it a Christmassy twist.
It is a rare example of a card with a sentiment from my desk (and a rather eye-catching one at that) – maybe I should have saved it for a challenge of that theme. But it also works in all of these:
Winter Wonderland: Christmas Decorations
Jingle Belles: Tie a Holiday Ribbon
ABC Christmas Challenge: M is for Movies (Schöne Bescherung / National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation)
Christmas with the Cuties: #38 Anything goes with ribbons and bows
Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog: #23 Anything Christmas Goes
Meanwhile, I’m looking forward to many a warm summer’s night spent on my terrace with excellent view of my recently installed fairy lights. And with that: have a wonderful Sunday night!
Barbara
