„Temperaturen wie im März“ sagten sie gerade in der Wettervorhersage – da läuft es mir eiskalt den Rücken runter! Ich will Schnee! Und wenn ich keinen kriegen kann, dann muss es wenigstens auf Weihnachtskarten was werden – ich habe mir einen Schneemann gebaut. So.
We were just told to expect temperatures we usually have in March – that sends shivers down my spine! I want snow! And if I can’t get any, then at least it needs to feature on my Christmas cards – I’ve made my snowman. So there.
Und in den Wettbewerb gebe ich sie bei 52CCT, wo es um Weihnachtskerzen oder -laternen geht, und noch mal bei der Rudolph Days Challenge – wo immer alles geht, Hauptsache Weihnachten. Und guckt mal hier, der Schnee glitzert sogar:
Over at 52CCT they ask for Christmas candles or lanterns, so I’ll enter the card there along with the Rudolph Days Challenge, where anything goes. And now look, the snow even glitters:
Nun muss ich mich aber dem Wintersport in Form des Slalom in Schladming widmen! Macht’s gut!
I now have to retire and watch the slalom from Schladming! Take care!

Fun card, Barbara. Right now, we’re experiencing the same temperatures as the Netherlands and possibly your area as well, but for us this means extremely cold weather. We’re using up extreme volumes of oil, but our central heating system cannot cope (or maybe it’s simply that insulation of Greek houses, even modern ones, stinks), so we’re happy if the indoor temperature reaches 19 degrees…
