Wohoo, a rabbit! And yes: it is an Easter card. I hardly send any, though, but somehow I really got into it this week as this is not the only one…
And I had a wonderful inspiration. Ros from Liverpool made a card with a similar layout and got me to thinking about an Easter card. Have a look at her card here, it’s a gem! I continued on my creative voyage like this:
I’ve had these little rabbits, stuck to small wooden clothes pins, for years. I guess their time had come.
The burlap blossoms are a find from England last summer – I keep my eyes peeled for craft supplies wherever I go. And still I don’t seem to have something for this version of the card… the blossoms are too rough for this one.
Don’t despair, there are more. I had to make sure I stay awake for those late night competitions at the Alpine World Ski Championships 😉
And there was even a touch of vintage – or would it be closer to shabby chic? …
…. before it turned towards more garish colors again, in sync with the carnivalesque goings-on outside my door!
There are more but I’ll leave it at that. Do you have a favorite?? Anyhow, thank you, Ros, for getting me going on this! Have a good weekend everybody!

I guess you will be surprising quite a few people with Easter cards this year. You really are on a roll. Such a great way to recycle those cute bunnies.

BTW, your photograph at the top of your blog is just amazing. It looks as though you’ve sprinkled glitter all over the land.
