Der Advent steht vor der Tür (29 Tage bis Weihnachten…) – höchste Zeit für meine diesjährige Adventsaktion zugunsten des Elisabeth-Hospiz in Lohmar. Letztes Jahr waren es die Adventskränze in a box – dieses Jahr sind es weihnachtlich gestaltete Plätzchentüten… mit Inhalt! Und zwar mit dem leckersten Spritzgebäck überhaupt!

We have almost reached advent (29 days to go until Christmas…) – high time Istarted this year’s advent fundraiser for the Elisabeth Hospice in Lohmar. Last year I made the hugely popular Advent Wreaths in a Box – this year I went for Christmassy cookie bags… with cookies! And not just any cookies: the best piped cookies ever!

Es gibt davon exakt 50 Stück… weil ich die benötigte Menge an Spritzgebäck grob unterschätzt habe (ca. 20 Bleche haben nicht ausgereicht), sind 40 sofort verfügbar, weitere 10 in einigen Tagen. Sie sind zu haben für jeweils 4,80 Euro. Um euch einen weiteren Anreiz zu bieten, lege ich noch einen drauf: für die ersten 20 Beutel, die weggehen, lege ich die 96 Euro noch mal drauf.

There are exactly 50 of them… and as I have hugely underestimated the amount of piped cookies needed to fill them (about 20 sheets were not enough) only 40 are immediately available – the other 10 will take a few more days. The price: 4.80 Euros a piece. And to further entice you to participate I will match the first 20 bags – i.e. paying 96 Euros on top.

Ich bin nicht sicher, dass die Plätzchen den Postversand überstehen. Sollte es jemand riskieren wollen, werde ich auf Verpackungsseite alles geben. Nach Erfahrungswerten halten sie sich bis mindestens Weihnachten, eher noch gut ins neue Jahr. Das aber nur, wenn man sie aus den Augen verliert, denn die sind so gut – ob mit Kaffee oder Tee… oder mit KAKAO (göttlich!) – die leben meist nicht allzu lang. Also, ich freue mich auf eure Bestellungen.

I’m not sure the cookies will survive tranport via the postal service in one piece. If you want to risk it I will do my very best in wrapping them. By experience we know that they easily last until Christmas, even well into the new year. But only if you lose sight of them. As they are so yummy – with coffee or tea… or with HOT COCOA (to die for!) – they don’t survive very long. Anyhow, I’m looking forward to your orders.
