Schon am Donnerstag sah ich in der Mittagspause diese komischen blauen Flecken am Himmel – und war fast überfordert. Und am Freitag bin ich aufgewacht zu einem komplett wolkenfreien Himmel und habe zum ersten Mal in 2013 die Sonne gesehen. Es war wirklich eine Erleichterung. Und dass jetzt der (von mir) heiß ersehnte Winter kommt ist klar (und nix is‘ mit Schnee schippen und Skifahren): am Mittwoch mache ich mich auf in warme Gefilde und werde hier und da aus Sri Lanka berichten. Bleibt dran! 😉

It was first on Thursday that I spotted those strange blue patches in the sky – it was just too much. Then when I woke up on Friday not a cloud was left on the sky and I saw the sun for the very first time in 2013. What a relief! And it was to be expected that the (on my part) longed for winter is about to come now when I won’t be around to shovel and ski: I’ll be off to warmer places as of Wednesday and hope to report every now and then from Sri Lanka.
